Botanica Illuminations In Wichita

Celebrate the holiday season with friends and family when you visit Wichita’s Botanical Illumination event. There are over 2 million lights, 18 themed lit gardens, 8,000 luminaries, food trucks, hot chocolate, roasting marshmallows, carolers, a cash bar and more.

Date: November 29th – January 4th (Closed Christmas Eve and Christmas Day)

Days: Sunday-Thursday 5:30pm-8:30pm and Friday-Saturday 5:30pm-9:30pm

Ticket Prices: Adults $12 and Members/Military/Youth $8 ($1 more when you buy at the door)

Parking: Additional parking is located in the South lot across from the Wichita Art Museum where shuttles will pick up passengers. The shuttle is free and runs every night 5:30pm-9:15pm/10:15pm.

Illuminations features large flowers, bugs, fish, sea creatures, floating trees, sweet treats, fairy lights, holiday scenes and other bright fun.

Concessions: S’mores, popcorn, cappuccinos, hot chocolate, cookies and more

Food Trucks: Hot-2-Trot Gourmet Hot Dogs, The Dapper Doughnut, The Flying Stove – Gourmet Street Cuisine, The Bavarian Nut Company and The Bar’s Open

Carolers and Musicians: Christmas Belles, Wichita Trumpet Ensemble, Jeff Garriott & Friends, Butler Show Band, Derby High School Madrigals, Haven Wildcat Singers, Prairie Creek Singers, Sunrise Choir, Heart of America Men’s Chorus, Circle High School Jazz Band, Route 266, Wichita Broadway Singers, Astra Idols and more

Carousel: $3 ride tokens can be purchased at the carousel pavilion. Tokens don’t expire and may be used in the future if there isn’t enough time during illuminations.
